What is the timeline of the paving project?
The project will be under construction from August 14, 2023 through mid-November.
What are the hours for construction?
Construction will typically begin at 6:00 a.m. and go through 3:00 p.m.
When will construction begin in front of my business?
There will be several phases of the project that will be constructed along the entire project limits throughout the 90-day duration. The contractor will notify businesses of any improvements that may impact driveways or access points.
Will my driveway be impacted? If so, when and for how long? What does the impact look like? How far in advance will I be notified?
Some, but not all driveways will be reconstructed. The contractor will ensure that access is maintained to businesses throughout the project. The contractor will notify businesses 48 hours in advance of work on a driveway.
Will my customers/patients still be able to access my business during business hours?
Yes. The contractor will maintain access to businesses.
How will this impact the bus service?
SunLine will install temporary bus stops to replace locations where the construction will impact existing stops.
Is there a map or list of driveways being replaced with dates?
The contractor will notify businesses at least 48 hours in advance of any work on a driveway. Driveway access will be maintained throughout the project. More detail will be provided upon request.
Will the gates along North Fred Waring be open to the public?
There are no plans to open the gates during the project.
